Full Home Remodel — Sacramento, CA 95825

This Sacramento home came to us needing a full transformation — a whole-house remodel that would bring a dated mid-century layout up to the way our client actually wanted to live. Over 18 weeks, our team reworked the kitchen, living and dining areas, laundry room, three secondary bedrooms and bath, and a complete primary suite renovation, plus new patio and landscaping work outside.

Project Overview

This full home remodel covers the main living spaces, kitchen, laundry room, three secondary bedrooms, a secondary bathroom, and a complete primary suite — bedroom, bathroom, and walk-in closet — plus exterior patio and landscaping updates. The project took 18 weeks from start to finish, transforming a dated mid-century layout into a bright, cohesive home our client loves living in.

Scope of Work

1. Living Room

• Fireplace: The existing fireplace was refreshed with a white brick surround that now anchors the room under the home's original vaulted ceiling.
• Flooring: New engineered wood flooring was carried through the living area, tying it into the open-concept layout.
• Layout: The space was opened up to flow directly into the dining area and kitchen, improving sightlines across the main living floor.

2. Kitchen Remodel

• Cabinetry: New white oak-toned, flat-panel cabinetry was installed floor to ceiling for a clean mid-century look.
• Countertops & Backsplash: Quartz countertops were paired with a tile backsplash and a waterfall-edge island.
• Appliances: A new stainless steel appliance package — range, hood, and dishwasher — completes the space.

3. Dining Room

• Layout: The dining area was reworked into the open kitchen-living flow, with a round table anchoring the space.
• Lighting: A pendant fixture was added over the table to define the dining area within the open floor plan.

4. Laundry Room

• Cabinetry & Hookups: The laundry nook was updated with new cabinetry and hookups, tucked just off the kitchen.

5. Primary Bathroom Remodel

• Walk-In Shower: A frameless glass shower enclosure was added as part of the primary suite renovation.
• Double Vanity: The vanity was rebuilt with wood-tone cabinetry, a white quartz countertop, dual undermount sinks, matte black fixtures, and framed mirrors with pendant lighting.

6. Secondary Bathroom Remodel

• Vanity & Fixtures: A wood-tone vanity with matte black fixtures brings the same updated palette to the home's secondary bathroom.

7. Primary Suite & Additional Bedrooms

• Primary Suite: The primary bedroom was updated with new flooring and fresh paint, with a black-framed glass barn door leading into the bathroom and a walk-in closet finished to match.
• Additional Bedrooms: All three secondary bedrooms received new flooring, paint, and lighting as part of the same remodel.

8. Exterior & Patio

• Entry & Landscaping: The entry walkway and landscaping were refreshed to complement the home's mid-century post-and-beam exterior.
• Covered Patio: A wood pergola-covered patio was finished off the back of the home for outdoor living.

Design Features

• Color Scheme: Warm white walls throughout are grounded by white oak-toned wood and matte black accents.
• Hardware: Matte black fixtures and hardware carry from the kitchen into both bathrooms for a cohesive look end to end.
• Materials: Quartz countertops, engineered wood flooring, and wood-tone vanities add warmth against the light, neutral palette.
• Signature Detail: Black-framed glass barn doors mark the primary suite as the standout feature of the remodel.
